How does the app find my location?
GPS Kit app uses Apple’s CoreLocation and MapKit frameworks, along with the sensors in your device to pinpoint your location.
What kind of location data can I get?
Latitude, longitude, altitude, address, a satellite image, and details like region, county, and more location details (if available).
Can I edit the data?
Absolutely! If the address seems a bit off or incomplete, you can tweak it to perfection and add personal notes to your saved places.
How does GPS Kit ensure my privacy?
We do not track you, we don’t have access to your data, or spy on you. Your location and trip data stay on your device and are protected by Apple’s Data Protection technology.
What is the business model?
Currently, there is a small ad in the app. We plan to introduce optional premium features as we add more tools for power travelers.
Can I pick the GPS data format?
You bet! Choose from decimal degrees, DMS (degrees, minutes, seconds), or plain format. You can also choose between meters and feet for altitude units.
